Thought of the day:
I don't get these people who claim that being gay is a choice. I don't recall
choosing to be strait. Really I can't even control what women I find
attractive. Lord knows I'd have probably made better choices were that the case. I
think it'd be easy for me to write off these people as "closet cases" that have
rejected their own homosexual desires and thus feel it's a choice. But I think
the real truth is that people don't want to honestly admit how much we are
controlled by our hormones and other things. I just don't think some people want
to face how much control we really don't have over ourselves. While this is
often romanticized as being the magic and mystery of love, it's also a real pain
in the ass. But would we have it any other way?
