Quote of the day:
"He that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow." Ecclesiates 1:18

Thought of the day:
They said a prayer at my highschool graduation, which I'm pretty sure wasn't legal. Even though they try to get around it by having a student say it. Really it's one of two religious incidents I had in highschool that I honestly think I could have sued the school over. Whatever, I guess at this point but I always wondered what would I have said if I were the one that they'd asked to say such a thing. The story of Adam and Eve comes to mind. It was the tree of knowledge that the serpent was said to have tempted Eve to par take of. So given the idea that education is to acquire knowledge, should I not have given thanks to the serpent? For wasn't he the first "teacher" by encouraging the acquisition of knowledge? Or at least that's how the story goes. People cry about prayer being taken out of school, I wonder how quickly they'd shut up after mine?
