Quote of the day:
"The Irish ignore anything they can't drink or punch." Old saying

Thought of the day:
There are Native American groups that have a problem with the names, logos, and what not of some sports teams. Feeling that they are offensive to them. Which is hard not to agree when it comes to some of them. But I'm watching the Notre Dame game up the bar on Saturday and can't help but wonder why the Irish don't have a problem with Notre Dame? Their logo is this leprechaun looking guy with fist up ready to fight. Really all he'd need is a drink in his hand and he'd have every stereotype covered. Even their name, "the fighting Irish" you'd think would be extremely offensive. That'd be like having a team called "the drunken Indians" if you ask me. Yet Irish people love the team. What that says about either group, I don't know?
