Thought of the day:
Johnnie Walker is the closest thing to a black friend I have. Not that I'm racist, it's more that I live in Honkey Town, USA in some ways. I am racist to a degree I'll admit though. I think it's hard not to have any racial bias or bigotry's. To be perfectly honest I think part of it is that most if not all stereotypes have some bias in truth. Really I tried to think of a stereotype that isn't true of at least someone (yes, some boys do in fact have cooties) and I can't think of one. Sure stereotypes do not fit every person or even the majority at times, which is why they are stereotypes, but they must have an origin and perhaps at least a grain of truth. Even the ones that seem to be born out of hatred. Perhaps they became self fulfilling prophecies and it's the old chicken or the egg question. If you tell someone that they are something from birth, most will believe it. But then what does this dumb Pollock know? (Why does my spell check know the word Pollock but not Honkey?)

Quote of the day:
"There is a tendency to judge a race, a nation or any distinct group by its least worthy members." Eric Hoffer
