Quote of the day:
"And he said to me, Until two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed." Daniel 8:14
Thought of the day:
Well, first let me explain that my quote of the day is the biblical verse that some William Miller in 1844 interpreted to mean that the world would end on October 22nd that year. Well, as you can guess Jesus was a no show. But what else is new? This guy takes any longer showing up and I'm gonna start believing those people who claim he was black. So it became know as "the Great Disappointment" but I'm sure I've bored most of you all with this story before. I do love it though! I looked up a bit on the web and found someone claiming that the guy might have been right just got the year wrong. So when people start telling me that turning 30 isn't the end of the world, I'll have to point out that it might be. I'm 28 today and what does that mean? Not much I guess, except that I've lived longer then a few rock stars. In your face Janis Joplin! So let me end this birthday thought of the day with this. The only two ages to worry about are those of the scotch in your glass and the woman in your lap. If either are under 12, it's not good.
